It's warming up! (Finally) (LOTS of pictures)

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend! Yesterday it was finally 72 degrees here. It was beautiful! We opened all the windows. Hubby & I took the kids to the zoo for a couple hours in the afternoon. I think that everyone had the same idea. It was packed! Packed places and Josh do not go hand and hand. And it must have been nap time for all the animals because there wasn't much to look at. Oh well, we had fun and got to enjoy the great weather! I took some pictures in my truck on the way to the Zoo which is in St. Paul. I cannot believe how clear the shots turned out from inside my truck threw the glass. Here is a tour of my cities lol....

The Minneapolis Skyline.......

Bad picture but you can see the top of the Metrodome. The bridge that collapsed is not to far from here....

The river in between Minneapolis & St. Paul

Skyline of downtown St. Paul and a bad shot of the capital (well thetop of it lol)

When we were done at the zoo we came home and planned on making Indian Taco's for dinner. Word got out and my sister first invited herself, then my mom and hubby's friend ended up coming for dinner also.  I had cheated and bought the Rhode's loaf but we didn't have enough fry bread so we ended up making a batch from scratch also. We chopped up the onion, tomato, lettuce, got out the cheese, sour cream, and salsa and I grabbed the foil wrapped meat to brown the hamburger and make taco meat. WELL I had dethawed a roast not hamburger lmao! I called my sister and she stopped and got 7 pounds of hamburger! I asked her if she bought enough lol! I cooked 3 and half pounds of it.

When dinner was done we chatted for a bit and hubby and his friend cleaned about 75% of the kitchen up and headed to his best friends house for the evening. I cleaned and sat on my deck and enjoyed the weather. I always forget to take a picture of the Indian Taco's when we make them. I will next time I do for sure.

Today is gorgeous out also! Hard to believe there is just under 5 weeks left of school.

Well I am going to end this and go switch my laundry, then I am off to run a couple errands. I am thinking we will BBQ tonight for dinner. Cheeseburgers maybe?

Everyone have a great week!

Love and hugs,

Your baby boy is gorgeous!  I loved seeing the city. It looks very, very similar to Atlanta skyline.  I love the zoo and haven't been in years.  I'm going to try to take Katie this year.

Take some pics next time.  I want to know what that food looks like.  Oh, btw, I recently met a family from up there where you are who are also Native Americans and they go to alot of casino's but I told them you all liked Bingo. lol  They gave me a package of wild rice too.
